A PHP/Drupal based website developed to help disseminate information to help military families and disseminate information to people and organizations that support military families. The site was developed using PHP and Drupal. I designed and developed three custom modules that support different features in the website. The custom module (http://reachmilitaryfamilies.arizona.edu/prodev/search) requiring the most programming required programming using Drupal's Forms API and Schema API. The module also relies heavily on jQuery and AJAX based calls to run queries for the site user. I am primary designer and developer of this application.
A metadata catalog and search engine. The Geothermal Data Catalog was developed using ESRI's open-source Geoportal. Geoportal is a Java and Java Server Faces application. I installed and modified this application to import USGIN geothermal metadata. The application also provides a map based interface that the user can use to search for spatially enabled metadata and documents in the back-end database.
An ArcGIS/ArcMap desktop application that allows a user to import or point to a GeoSciML metadata file. The application will read and parse the file looking for geologic features to render in a map. The ESRI ArcObjects C# API was used to build the interface.
A basic PHP/Drupal website used as an online presence for Abeyta Painting in Tucson, AZ.
A searchable document and information repository that supports the USGIN project. The site was developed using PHP/Drupal and MySQL.
A basic PHP/Drupal website used as an online presence for the Wildlife Files forensic DNA research site at The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ.
A searchable digital archive site. Allows users to search for a research document for a study area within the Santa Rita Experimental Range. The application uses PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL and Google Maps Javascript API. The site user can search for documents based on study area, vegetation, study type, document type and date of study.
A Python and Django based web application that allows clients to view aerial imagery of crops through a Google Maps based interface. The user can select a parcel of land, image date, image type and the application will overlay the appropriate image on the map of the parcel. The application serves as a tool that allows farmers and others to compare crop treatments over time. The application also pulls imagery data using REST requests to an ERDAS Image Server instance. I was the primary designer and developer of this application.
This website was developed using PHP and CodeIgniter. The application parses through a list of geo-refernced RSS feeds. Each news item in the feed is parsed for descriptive and spatial information. The news item is also classified into a category. Each item is mapped using the Google Maps Javascript API.
